Science fiction begins with imagination, but the most believable worlds are built with structure, detail, and purpose. To help visualize the settings of Rogue Wave and the Novum saga, my late brother Dave Rhea spend many years creating amazingly detailed 3D models of ships, interiors, and technology featured in my stories. These models served as both creative tools and world-building references, allowing me to explore how each environment functions long before it appeared on the page. These models still inspire me today.
